Winner to be announced for “Most Valuable Insight” Award

Driving-Sales-300One of four finalists, including Canadian-based SCI MarketView, will take home the 2015 DrivingSales Most Valuable Insights Award at the The DrivingSales Presidents Club conference.

Held on April 1, 2015 in New York City, the invitation-only event for dealer principals runs the Most Valuable Insight Competition in which applicants provided an insight based on original research that can provide value to dealership executives.

The four chosen finalists will each present their findings onstage during the conference and engage in a Q&A session with a panel of top dealer executives who will select the winner at the end of the day.

“This year’s DrivingSales Most Valuable Insight presentations are destined to get our industry talking about key areas for process innovation and improvement,” said Jared Hamilton, Founder and CEO of DrivingSales, in a written release. “Each is based on deep research and promises to help our dealer attendees increase profits and build for the future.”

WIthout identifying the submitters, a panel of judges from dealerships across the U.S. selected the top four contenders out of 28 total online submissions based on criteria, including insight usefulness and its applicability to a dealership or group, topic relevancy to a dealer principal or GM, magnitude of results, and insight originality.

“The insights from our study show that the quality of an initial online lead response can be quantified and that measuring quality can be used to drive online close rates as much as four-fold. That’s a material difference that dealers can really benefit from,” says Alan Bird, President and Chief Executive Leader for SCI MarketView headquartered in Markham, Ont., and one of four company finalists.

The panel of judges will determine the finalist with the highest score, who will then present findings in more detail at the annual 2015 DrivingSales Executive Summit held in October at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nev.
