CarGurus, an automotive shopping site in the U.S., has come out with its 10 best “Top Family-Friendly Kid-Haulers.”
These models, which fall into the midsize or large SUV and minivan classes, are rated highly for safety and offer plenty of cargo space, seating capacity, cabin comforts and modern technologies.
That’s important for families who will be spending a lot of time in their vehicles. According to a recent CarGurus online poll of shoppers with school-age kids, a third spend more than an hour in the car on a typical weekday.
“For families with school-age children, finding a vehicle that balances safety and reliability with space, comfort and convenience is important,” said Steve Halloran, Chief Editor at CarGurus, in a written release.
MSRP prices range between $22,000 U.S. up to $49,000.
