A leader in automotive retail design and a leading digital content producer have teamed up to provide one-stop service for automotive dealers. The partnership between automotive architectural design firm Weis & Associates and content specialists Universus will bring greater digital integration to the car-buying and service experience.
While Canadians currently engage with powerful digital messages when they shop for cars online, there’s often little digital content to explore when they get to the dealership, says Universus president Niel Hiscox in a joint news release.
“This alliance will make it much easier for dealers to bring digital media into their stores, and for automotive manufacturers to incorporate digital standards into their facilities standards and programs,” says Hiscox. “By making building design and digital content part of the same conversation, we can provide much better design outcomes at lower cost.”
The agreement will see Weis ensuring that digital installations are consistent with corporate image standards and integrated into the plans for the dealership, while Universus designs the digital experience, manages the technology and creates and manages the content.
“Together, we cover all the bases to ensure a fully integrated outcome, and, as far as we know, this is the first time in Canada that this combination of architectural design and automotive content skills has been available in an integrated solution,” says Monte Weis, president of Weis and Associates.
The partnership provides dealers with a way to inform, educate and entertain customers with up-to-date content and interactive tools.
