OpenRoad Auto Group Achieves 2009 sales records

OpenRoad Auto Group’s nine dealerships throughout Vancouver’s Lower Mainland have recorded improved sales from January to November of 2009 despite economic recession.

“We have had a banner year and our Lower Mainland sales have exceeded the Western Canada and national averages for year over year sales,” says Christian Chia, President of OpenRoad Auto Group.

The auto retailer led sales with brands like Audi, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda and Toyota. New and used vehicle sales saw an increase of 3.9% with used vehicle sales improving by 24.3%. Acura sales increased 51.6% beating the national average of 12.5%. Audi sales were above 60% from the national average of 8% as well as Hyundai at 61% compared to national sales of 27%.

OpenRoad also reported an increase of service repairs at 14.2% and parts business up by 15.5%.
